In these Terms of Service, we aim to provide you with basic information regarding the use of the wikit service (hereinafter referred to as "wikit" or the "Service") that you may need or would like to know. In these Terms of Service, you can find details on the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other matters between SNOW Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and users of the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Members" or "you"). The Company will make these Terms of Service easily accessible within the Service so that you can review them at your convenience. The Company will make every effort to continuously the Service in a stable manner..

The definitions and interpretations of the terms used in these Terms of Service are as follows:

The “Service” refers to wikit and related services that can be accessed through various devices (including wired and wireless devices, such as PCs, mobile devices, and any other devices).
“Members” or “you” refers to customers who access and use the Service provided by the Company, and/or enter into a Service Contract (as defined herein) with the Company under these Terms of Service.

“Content” refers to the information in the form of symbols, text, sound, images, videos, and other types of files and links that you post while using the Service.

The Terms of Service shall be easy to access, and shall be revised with prior notice

The Company will post the Terms of Service within the Service or on a linked screen in a way that is easy for you to access, and the Company may revise these Terms of Service within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations. If the Company revises the Terms of Service, it will specify the reason for the revision, the effective date of the revised version, send you the current Terms of Service and notify you within the Service at least seven (7) days prior to its effect. However, if the revisions are unfavorable to you, the Company will provide notice within the Service at least 30 days in advance and individually notify you via email or other means.

If you do not explicitly express your refusal of the amended Terms of Service after the Company has notified you of the revisions, you agree that the Company will understand that you have agreed to the revised Terms of Service. Because the Company cannot apply the revised Terms of Service if you do not agree to its application, you may terminate the Service Contract. However, if there are special circumstances where the unrevised Terms of Service cannot be applied, the Company may terminate the Service Contract with you. Even if some provisions of these Terms of Service are deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be effective.

The Terms of Service and Operation Policy complement each other

The Company may establish separate Terms of Service and Operation Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Operation Policy") for individual services. Matters not specified or interpreted in these Terms of Service will be governed by the separate Operation Policy, relevant laws, or customary practices. Furthermore, if you purchase any paid services provided by wikit, you agree to be bound by the wikit Terms of Use for Paid Products and Services.

Before using the Service, you must complete several procedures

A “Service Contract” is created when a person who desires to become a Member (hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant") agrees to the Terms of Service, submits a membership application, and the Company accepts this application. In principle, the Company will approve the Applicant’s membership application. However, the Company may refuse approval or may terminate the Service Contract in the following cases:

1. If the Applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms of Service, except when the Company has granted approval to rejoin.

2. If the Applicant provides false information or fails to include the required information specified by the Company.

3. If the application cannot be approved due to the Applicant's fault or if the Applicant violates other specified regulations.

4. Applicants under 14 years of age, who are not eligible to use wikit or its related services.

Additionally, the Company may withhold approval if there are no available service-related equipment, or if there are technical or operational issues.

If the Company decides not to approve or to reserve approval of a membership application, it will inform the Applicant of this decision, in principle. The Service Contract is considered to be established at the point when the Company indicates completion of the application process. The Company may categorize users according to the Service Policy, differentiating usage by time, frequency, and service menu based on different user levels.

You can update your personal information at any time

You can view and modify your personal information via the Profile Settings page. If any information provided during registration changes, you must update your profile and inform the Company of these changes. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from failure to inform the Company of such changes.

We are committed to protecting your personal information

The Company protects your personal information as required by applicable laws, and the protection and use of personal information are governed by relevant laws and the Service’s Privacy Policy. However, if child pornography is distributed or if large-scale distribution of pornography is detected, or if content is found that is deemed to pose an immediate threat to life, the Company may provide relevant information to law enforcement agencies independently of the Privacy Policy. Additionally, the Company may review content to verify compliance with relevant laws or Terms of Service and may provide posts or conversation content to law enforcement agencies as required by law.

If you do not log in to or access the Service for an extended period, the Company may delete or separately store your information after giving prior notice via email, in-service notifications, or other appropriate electronic means. If you continue not to access the service, the Company may terminate the relevant Service Contract.

The Company's Privacy Policy does not apply to linked sites outside of the official site.

We provide clear guidance on important matters and actively consider your feedback

When the Company needs to notify you of important matters, the notification may be made through in-service notifications or any other method deemed appropriate by the Company, unless otherwise specified in these Terms of Service.

We strive to address your feedback and complaints regarding the use of the Service if they are found to be valid. The process and outcome of handling your feedback or complaints will be communicated to you through the customer service center or other methods deemed appropriate by the Company.

Please respect the rights of the Service and content creators

Copyrights and intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company, excluding the rights to content you have created. The copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to all trademarks, service marks, logos, designs, text, scripts, graphics, code, illustrations, icons, photos, videos, and transmission features provided by the Company are owned or licensed by the Company in accordance with relevant laws.

The Company grants you only the right to use the Service under the conditions specified by the Company, and you may not transfer, sell, offer as collateral, or otherwise dispose of the Service. These Terms of Service do not grant you the ownership or copyright of the Service, but rather grants you the limited permission to use the Service from the Company in accordance with the Company’s terms.

Except as explicitly permitted, you may not use, copy, or distribute other users' membership information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes, nor may you copy or distribute text, scripts, or graphic transmission features created by the Company. Unless you have received explicit written permission from the Company, you may not create derivative works, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service or the software included in it.

We will handle the content you provide with care

The posts you publish may be shared with other users through the Service. Posts refer to various types of content or files, including symbols, text, voice, sound, images, photos, videos, links, etc., that you publish on the Service for others or yourself to view.

The intellectual property rights and other rights to the posts you create and publish naturally belong to you. You are also permitted to use the content edited or modified using the editing tools/stickers/designs provided within the Service for commercial use.

To legally provide the posts you publish through the Service, the Company requires the rights to store, reproduce, modify, publicly transmit, display, distribute, edit, and create derivative works (limited to translations only) of your content, without restrictions on duration or region and without any compensation. For example, the Company's operators may change content properties and information, such as adding multilingual titles to your posts before posting them on the feed. By submitting or publishing posts, you grant the Company such rights, you represent that you own or have obtained all necessary rights to the content you post or share.

The Company may exercise the content usage rights you grant in accordance with copyright laws and other relevant regulations for purposes, including publishing within the Service, promotional activities for the Service, operation and improvement of the Service, research for new service development, compliance with legal obligations such as web accessibility, and allowing search, collection, and linking on external sites.

Additionally, the content you provide may be used by the Company and its affiliates for research and development purposes to improve the Service and/or to provide new services. The Company will make every effort through continuous research and development to offer more convenient and useful services.

The Company strives to provide various means to help you more easily manage the use or access of your content by the Service or other users. If you choose to make your post public when submitting or publishing it, the Company may review the content to determine if it is appropriate for public purposes. By making your post public, you are considered to be agreeing that the Company may publish the post on publicly accessible boards within the Service (e.g., feeds) for all users to see. Additionally, you agree that other users may use your content (including using the editing templates applied to the post via the sharing features) or use it for service promotions in accordance with these Terms of Service. When submitting or posting content, or even afterward, you can directly control other users' access or use of your content through management functions such as deleting or making the content private within the Service. You can also request actions such as deleting content, making it private, or excluding it from search results through the customer service center. However, in certain cases, it may be impossible to delete or make content private due to service policies. Please refer to the Service's guidelines, announcements, or customer service center for more information on these cases.

You must follow certain guidelines when using the Service

To ensure proper use of the Service, you are prohibited from taking the following actions:

- Registering false information when signing up or updating your details

- Misusing someone else's information

- Collecting, disclosing, or providing other users' personal information, registration details, or usage history without authorization or allowing others to access your account, thereby compromising account security

- Distributing false information to gain financial benefits for yourself or others, or to cause harm to others

- Facilitating inappropriate relationships, defaming, or damaging the reputation of individuals or groups, or otherwise misusing the service in ways that contradict its intended purpose.

Additionally, unauthorized alteration of information posted by the Company is prohibited, as are actions that involve impersonation of the Company or third parties, identity theft, infringement of copyrights or intellectual property rights, defamation, or interference with business operations. Furthermore, the following actions are strictly forbidden:

  1. Copying or modifying the Service or any technology included in the Service, as well as selling, transferring, renting, pledging, or allowing others to use it
  2. Creating derivative works based on the Service or the technology included in the Service, or modifying any resulting derivatives
  3. Decompiling, attempting to extract source code from, replicating, disassembling, imitating, or otherwise altering the Service or the technology included in the Service
  4. Misrepresenting or making false statements or warranties about the Service or the technology included in the Service

Additionally, transmitting or posting information not authorized by the Company (such as computer programs), obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or any other content that violates public morals is prohibited. Also prohibited are acts of impersonating others or publishing false claims to deceive others through the Service.

Acts that facilitate or promote the above-mentioned behaviors, or any other illegal or unfair actions, are also prohibited. You must comply with the relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms of Service, Operation Policy, user guidelines, and any notices or instructions issued by the Company. You must not engage in activities that interfere with the Company's operations.

Additional terms applicable to wikit’s AI Services

In order to use wikit’s AI services (which includes technologies and features incorporating artificial intelligence algorithms, hereafter “AI Services”) features, you must be at least of the age of the legal majority, as applied to you in the applicable jurisdiction. In order to use wikit’s AI Services features (which uses artificial intelligence algorithms), you will submit your photos, audio files or videos to generate or use the AI Services. You consent that we will use your photos, audio files or videos to teach the AI algorithms solely for the purpose of generating your deliverables resulting from your use of the AI Services. However, your photos, audio files or videos will be deleted immediately after the deliverables resulting from your use of the AI Services are complete. You must not use or submit any photos, audio files or videos that violate any of these Terms or to which you do not have all the necessary rights. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Company and its affiliates harmless against any losses or claims arising out of or relating to your use of the photos, audio files or videos in violation of these Terms.

AI Services features use external AI technology. Due to this, Company cannot fully control the results or deliverables generated by the AI Services, and therefore these deliverables in no way represent the Company’s official policy or position on religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, individual, or anyone or anything. The Company makes reasonable efforts to moderate the deliverables from its AI Services, by configuring the AI settings, which, in any case, are only those that the Company can access. The Company does not and cannot moderate user content. By agreeing to the Terms and/or purchasing the AI Services and the ultimate deliverables, you agree to the above disclaimer and waive any claims against Company due to the generated deliverables. In case you find the deliverables offensive or otherwise unacceptable, please let us know by reaching out to us through Setting > Support > “Contact” within the Service.

If necessary, you may be subject to usage restrictions

The Company promises to handle the diverse content and opinions you provide with care, but it does not review or manage all content. If your content violates the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (hereinafter referred to as "Information and Communications Network Act"), copyright law, Deliberation Regulations on Information and Communications or other relevant laws, the Terms of Service, Operation Policy, or other notices or instructions issued by the Company, or if it is inappropriate or unsuitable for the Service, the Company may choose to make it private, delete it, or not display it.

Please refrain from creating and sending content or messages (including comments) that others do not wish to receive, especially those that may cause discomfort. Additionally, please use this Service lawfully . The Service must not be used for any illegal purposes.

If the content you create on the Service contains elements that violate relevant laws, the rights holder may request the suspension of its publication or other actions in accordance with the procedures specified by the relevant laws, and the Company will process such requests accordingly. Even without a request from the rights holder, if there are grounds to believe that a rights infringement has occurred or if the content violates the Company’s policies or relevant laws, the Company may take temporary measures or delete/close the content and related groups in accordance with relevant laws.

The Company may restrict your use of the Service by issuing warnings, temporarily suspending access, or permanently banning you from accessing the Service if you violate the obligations outlined in these Terms of Service, the Operation Policy, or any other notices or guidelines issued by the Company, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service. If you engage in activities that violate relevant laws, such as providing illegal programs, obstructing operations, illegal communication and hacking, distributing malicious programs, exceeding access permissions, or performing mechanical activities —or if your activities are deemed not to constitute normal service use or involve any other acts that bypass the Company’s technical measures intended to prevent abuse of the Service —the Company may immediately impose a permanent ban. In the case of a permanent ban, any and all benefits obtained through the Service will be forfeited, and the Company will not provide any compensation. The conditions and details of such restrictions are governed by the Operation Policy.

If the Company restricts your use of the Service or terminates the Service Contract, the Company will notify you according to its notification procedures, and you may file an objection in accordance with the procedures set by the Company. If the objection is deemed valid by the Company, your use of the Service will be immediately reinstated.

We oppose the distribution of child and youth pornography; this content is not allowed under any circumstances

Children and youth are both our future and valuable individuals that must be protected by everyone. The Company will make every effort to create safe environments so that children and youth can develop proper values and grow into healthy members of society.

“Child and youth pornography” includes not only typical pornography but also threats to share explicit images, or proposals for sexual services or activities. Additionally, even if such content is shared with the intent of raising awareness about child and youth sexual crimes, certain content may still be considered a violation of this rule if it contains explicit material.

If the Company discovers pornographic content involving individuals who appear to be minors, it will take immediate action with respect to the content. Furthermore, the Company will impose the highest level of penalties within wikit on Members who post or share such content and may also cooperate with law enforcement authorities by providing relevant information.

User reports of child and youth pornography are important to us, and we will continue to carefully consider and take action to protect minors from such threats. For more detailed information on our efforts to protect children and youth, please refer to our initiatives for youth protection within wikit.

We strive to provide stable service

The Service is generally available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but the Company may, with prior notice, divide the Service into specific sections and designate separate availability times for each section. Additionally, the entire Service or parts of it may be provided with different levels of access based on user verification, registration status, or other conditions set by the Company.

The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for reasons such as maintenance, replacement, or malfunctioning of computers or other information and communication systems, disruption of communication, or other significant operational reasons. In such cases, the Company will notify you through predetermined notification procedures. However, if there are unavoidable circumstances where prior notice is impossible, the Company may notify you afterward. The Company may also conduct regular inspections necessary for service provision, and the schedule for such inspections will be announced on the Service's display screen.

The Service may sometimes undergo changes

The Company may change all or part of the Service provided for operational or technical reasons when necessary. If there are changes to the content, usage methods, or availability times of the Service, the reasons and details for the changes, and the date of implementation will be posted on the Service’s notice screen or other methods that you can easily recognize before the changes are made.

The Company may modify, suspend, or change all or part of the Service provided for free according to Company policies or operational needs. Unless otherwise specified by relevant laws, no separate compensation will be provided to Members resulting from changes to free services within the Service.

We may provide a variety of information and advertisements

To use the Service, you may need to view advertisements. This allows us to offer you a variety of services for free as a general principle and creates the foundation for investing in new research and development to provide better services.

The Company may provide you with various information deemed necessary during your use of the Service through methods such as notices or notifications within the Service. You can refuse to receive such information at any time, except for transaction history and responses to customer inquiries as required by relevant laws. However, if the Company intends to send you commercial advertising information for profit via SMS, phone, or fax, prior consent will be obtained from you before said information is sent.

Additionally, the Company may display advertisements on the Service screen, bulletin boards, homepage, and other places within the Service, in connection with the operation of the Service. You are not permitted to take actions such as changing, modifying, or restricting posts or other information provided by the Company in connection with the Service.

You can cancel the Service at any time

You may terminate the Service Contract at any time by accessing the account deletion screen within the Service, and the Company will process it immediately in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. If you terminate the Service Contract, all of your data will be deleted immediately, except for any member information that the Company retains in accordance with relevant laws and the privacy policy, and deleted data cannot be recovered.

When you terminate the Service Contract, all information registered under your account, such as your profile picture and other identifying details, will be deleted. However, any content that has been saved, bookmarked, or reposted by others, as well as posts on public bulletin boards, will not be deleted, so please make sure that you individually delete all such content before you terminate the Service Contract.

There are some exceptions to the Company's responsibilities regarding operation of the Service

The Company will be exempt from responsibility for providing the Service in cases of natural disasters or similar force majeure events. The Company is also not responsible for service disruptions and communication failures caused by your fault, such as the loss of your device(s).

In addition, we are not liable for the credibility, accuracy, or content of information, materials, or facts published in relation to the Service. We are exempt from responsibility for any conduct between you and a third party through the Service. Furthermore, we are not liable for any issues related to the use of free services, unless there are special provisions in the relevant laws.

Any litigation arising between the Company and you concerning these Terms of Service will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Civil Procedure Act.
